Last summer I was shopping at Target when I saw a trial size bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps. A 2oz bottle was only $1.99, so I bought one because I’d wanted to try Dr. Bronner’s soaps for the longest time.
Dr Bronners liquid castile soap is made up of organic oils. Coconut and olive oils with retained glycerin) organic Royal CBD, jojoba oil, peppermint oil, mentha arvensis extract, citric acid and vitamin e.
One of the most commonly used ingredients for added texture is bird seed. These will also add some protein to your mix, although the levels are not as high as you might think.
Eggs are a great source of protein. Every egg contains 6 grams of high-quality protein and all 9 essential amino acids. Eggs are one of the only foods that contain naturally occurring vitamin D. They are a good source of choline. One egg yolk has about 300 micrograms of choline. Choline is an important nutrient that helps regulate the brain, nervous system, and cardiovascular system. They contain the right kind of fat. One egg contains just 5 grams of fat and only 1.5 grams of that is saturated fat. Eggs are even good for your eyes, and you can cook them so many delicious ways!
Regular usage of omega 3 is very important for you. It can be beneficial in relieving pain and swelling in case of arthritis. It is good for your heart, helps in decreasing cholesterol levels in your blood, and helps out with high blood pressure. It is also known to be helpful in preventing colon, breast and prostrate cancers.
What you add to your soap is entirely up to you once you learn the basics. The addition of these ingredients can add exfoliating qualities to the soap, will change its appearance or add healing properties. The additives listed below are just a few that you may consider adding either singularly or in combination.
Although I don’t really care for the strong lavender scent of this Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap, it keeps my skin looking and feeling great. I’ll probably experiment with all of the Dr. Bronner’s soaps before settling on a favorite, but I wouldn’t mind buying the Lavender version occasionally. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
