The heart of our modern problem. Our daily lives are crowded, our minds are continually taken away from the here and now, constantly focusing on a problem, a thought, an emotion. Often these things are merely distractions. They aren’t truly important. Certainly there are some things that are important and critical to our families and our daily lives but in this modern, crowded world it is quite often difficult to find the time to sort out the important from the unimportant. Then we come to our bodies. We find it difficult to give our bodies the attention they deserve. We eat when we find time and grab what we can. Convenience food, processed food. We do jobs which result in us sitting for long periods, often in incorrect postures. Many of us don’t even walk correctly.

First and easiest way is trying to reach this connection with yourself in the morning or in the evening in the bed. Just take 5-10 minutes and notice what is happening around you. If you have lived in same house or room for years then it might be surprising what you see and hear.

Pick a place that will allow you this time and space. some places I enjoy are a quiet park, your favorite and most comfortable room in your home, or if you have family try to wake earlier in the morning to catch the sunrise and spend that time in complete silence, Unplug your TV, telephone, and computer. Resist the temptation to check e-mail or the daily news. Use this time to practice meditation skills. Focus on just being, instead of doing anything. Creative juice will flow effortlessly and automatically with practice and priming your brain. You become a living magnet that attracts money, health, happiness, influence, protection and relationship because you are aligned with the energy of the universe where every good thing originates.
